About the Role
IDYDC is seeking two (2) diligent and organized individuals to fill the position of Accountant and Record Management Assistant for Afya Yangu Project. One position will be based in Iringa and the other in Njombe. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining flawless HR and financial records, scanning and electronic archiving, and supporting the finance team through project close-out activities.
Key Responsibilities
- HRH Files Management: Ensure there is a 100% complete Human Resource file at both the Regional Office and CSO Office for all staff and volunteers employed by the project.
- Review and Sorting: Systematically review, categorize, and arrange all project files.
- Scanning and Electronic Archiving: Scan project records and electronically archive them into designated folders using proper naming conventions. Maintain high-quality, readable scans.
- Labeling and Indexing: Label files, folders, and archive boxes, and prepare comprehensive document registers.
- Close-out Support: Provide hands-on support for audit preparations, report compilations, and related project close-out activities.
- Grants & Finance Support: Assist the Grants and Finance unit with tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Records Management.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in digital archiving, scanning technology, and file management software.
- Basic understanding of financial processes and audit readiness.
- Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
