At IDYDC, we believe that strengthening family and community livelihoods is key to breaking this cycle. Through our Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment program, we equip families, women, and youth with the skills, resources, and opportunities to build sustainable sources of income.

Children have the right to grow up safe, healthy, and supported. At IDYDC, our Child Protection & Youth Empowerment program safeguards vulnerable children from abuse, neglect, and exploitation while providing them with opportunities to thrive. We focus on both the child and the environment that surrounds them families, communities, and institutions to ensure lasting protection and empowerment.

At IDYDC, we believe that sports are a powerful tool for empowering youth, building skills, and fostering social change. Our Sports for Development program provides structured football and recreational activities for children and youth, while also serving as a platform to deliver education, health, and child protection messages in an engaging way.

Healthy children and communities are the cornerstone of sustainable development. IDYDC’s Health Promotion & Disease Prevention program works to improve the health and well-being of children, youth, and families by combining education, access to services, and community engagement. Our goal is to empower communities to make informed health choices and adopt behaviors that prevent disease and promote wellness.

Education is the foundation for opportunity and empowerment. IDYDC’s Education & Skills Development program works to ensure that children and youth acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school, life, and the workforce. By combining formal education support with vocational and digital skills training, we help young people unlock their potential and prepare for a brighter future.

Access to safe water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene practices is essential for healthy children, youth, and communities. IDYDC’s WASH program works to improve water and sanitation facilities, promote hygiene awareness, and reduce preventable diseases in schools and communities.
